Founder Evrim Rızvanoğlu Attended The Climate Reality Project’s “Climate Leadership Training”

Our founder, Member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and Istanbul MP Evrim Rızvanoğlu, participated in The Climate Reality Project’s “Climate Leadership Training,” held in Paris from March 28–30. The event brought together climate leaders and activists from around the world to discuss innovative solutions to the global climate crisis. Through the knowledge and experience gained during the training, Rızvanoğlu aims to contribute to the development of sustainable and inclusive environmental policies in Türkiye.

The training featured prominent speakers such as former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, and focused on practical solutions to climate change while emphasizing the empowerment of women leaders in the global climate movement. Rızvanoğlu had the opportunity to further strengthen her work on integrating climate solutions into political initiatives and encouraging more women to take on leadership roles in environmental advocacy.

As Head of Nature Rights and Environmental Policies at the DEVA Party, Rızvanoğlu primarily works on combating climate change within the Turkish Parliament. Her participation in this training marks an important step in advancing WPGW.org’s mission to promote climate action and inclusive policymaking.

This experience has further reinforced Rızvanoğlu’s commitment to advancing the climate agenda and ensuring that women in politics are equipped with the tools and expertise needed to lead the fight against climate change.
